This is a one-day course intended for all healthcare providers who are interested to learn & develop the ability to read, analyze & interpret electrocardiograms at the primary/beginner level.

The course helps to acquire skills on how to obtain ECG and interpret to enable participants to identify signs of myocardial infarction &/or life-threatening arrhythmias that would enable them to activate emergency medical services.

Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the course, the candidates should be able to:
ยท To obtain a 12-lead ECG on a patient
ยท Should know correct Lead placement in normal left-sided, right-sided & posterior ECG & identify misplacements, displacement, dextrocardia
ยท Identify & interpret cardiac arrest rhythms & arrhythmias
ยท Identify & interpret ST-Elevation MI (myocardial Infarction)
