Description
Emergency First Aid course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home and learn how to recognise and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and prevent disease transmission.
It is recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and meets Ontario Health & Safety (OHS) regulations for Basic First Aid. All participants will receive the Canadian Red Cross Certification card which is valid for 3 years.
Who can attend
- Any trades person, Security Guards, Driver (Transport, Taxi, School Bus, Etc.)
- Any person who wants more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home or at work place.
Course Delivery Format
- The Blended Learning: Blended learning is a combination of online training and in class skill practice. The Blended Training Program allows for a portion of the course content to be completed at participants convenance before the in class skills session. Once registered you will receive access the Red Cross online module. The online portion needs to be completed before the scheduled skills session.
