Description
Emergency First Aid course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home and learn how to recognise and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and prevent disease transmission.
It is recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB)ย and meets Ontario Health & Safety (OHS)ย regulations for Basic First Aid. ย All participants will receive the Canadian Red Cross Certification card which is valid for 3 years.

- Anyย trades person, Security Guards,ย Driver (Transport, Taxi, School Bus, Etc.)
- Any personย who wants more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home or at work place.
Course Delivery Format
- Theย Traditional Classroom: This is a 1 day course (8 hrs) in class, led by a first Aid Instructor and participants gain all the knowledge and skills through interactive session.
- Theย Blended Learning: Blended learning is a combination of online training and in class skill practice. The Blended Training Program allows for a portion of the course content to be completed at participants convinance before the in class skills session. Once registered you will receive your own unique pin code and password to access the Red Cross Learning Campus. The online portion needs to be completed before the scheduled skills session. This is 4.5 hrs in class course.
