Basic Life Support (BLS) Renewal Course – Heart & Stroke Foundation
The BLS Renewal Course is a fast-paced, classroom-based course designed for experienced healthcare providers who regularly use their resuscitation skills and wish to renew their BLS certification.
The course focuses on high-quality CPR, effective team dynamics, and single-rescuer and multi-rescuer resuscitation skills in both prehospital and healthcare facility settings.
This course is intended for healthcare providers who already have a strong understanding of Heart & Stroke Foundation (HSF) BLS concepts, are confident in their skills, and require minimal practice.
Who Can Attend
- All healthcare providers who require BLS certification.
- Healthcare professionals holding a valid Heart & Stroke Foundation BLS Provider certificate.
- Experienced healthcare providers who regularly perform CPR and resuscitation skills.
Important Prerequisite Requirements
If your BLS certificate has expired or was issued by another organization , you must first successfully complete the Heart & Stroke BLS Renewal Prerequisite Challenge to become eligible for the HSF BLS Renewal Course.
